These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply when you use this store or buy from it. By placing an order you agree to these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Return & Refund Policy and Shipping Policy, which form part of them. Please read them before you buy.

1. Who you are buying from

This store is owned and operated by The Lucknowi, which is the seller of every product listed on it. Our legal entity name, registered address, GSTIN (where we are GST-registered) and customer support contact details are published on our Contact us page. The store runs on a third-party e-commerce platform that hosts it for us; the platform is not the seller and is not a party to your purchase.

2. Using the store

You must be at least 18, or use the store with the involvement of a parent or guardian. If you create an account, keep your sign-in details private; you are responsible for orders placed from your account. Do not misuse the store, for example by placing fraudulent orders, interfering with its operation, or posting unlawful content in reviews.

3. Products, prices and listings

We describe our products, their prices, and their country of origin as accurately as we can. Product images are for illustration; small differences in colour or finish can occur. All prices are in Indian Rupees and include applicable GST unless stated otherwise. Delivery charges and any other charges are shown at checkout before you pay. We do not manipulate prices to make unreasonable profit, and we do not discriminate between customers in the same class. If a listing contains an obvious error, we may decline or cancel the affected order and will refund any amount you paid in full.

4. Orders and cancellation

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we confirm that your order has been dispatched. We may decline an order if a product is out of stock, if there is a pricing error, if we cannot deliver to your address, or if we suspect fraud; if you have paid, we refund you in full. You can cancel an order at no charge at any time before it is dispatched by contacting us. We do not charge you a cancellation fee unless we bear a similar charge when we cancel, as the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 require.

5. Payment

We accept the payment methods shown at checkout, which may include UPI, cards, net banking, wallets and cash on delivery (COD) where available. Online payments are processed securely by our payment gateway; we never see or store your full card details. COD may be limited by order value or pincode and may need confirmation by phone or one-time password.

6. Shipping and delivery

Delivery estimates are shown at checkout and in our Shipping Policy. They are estimates, not guarantees. Ownership and risk in the products pass to you on delivery.

7. Returns and refunds

Returns, exchanges and refunds are governed by our Return & Refund Policy. The main points: eligible items can be returned within 7 days of delivery, damaged, defective or wrong items are replaced or refunded at no cost to you, and approved refunds are issued within the timelines stated in that policy.

8. Reviews and content you submit

We do not post fake reviews or misrepresent the quality or features of our products. If you submit a review, photo or other content, you confirm it is your genuine experience and does not infringe anyone's rights, and you allow us to display it on the store and our social channels. We may remove content that is unlawful, abusive or unrelated to the product.

9. Intellectual property

The store's content, including text, images, logos and designs, belongs to The Lucknowi or its licensors. You may not copy or reuse it for commercial purposes without our written permission.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other law that cannot be limited by agreement.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place an order applies to that order.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any problem quickly. This does not affect your right to approach the consumer commission that has jurisdiction, including where you live, under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Subject to that right, the courts at the place of our registered office have jurisdiction.

13. Grievance redressal

If you have a complaint about an order, a product, this store, or how we handle your personal data, write to the Grievance Officer of The Lucknowi using the contact details on our Contact us page. Please include your order number if the complaint relates to an order. We acknowledge every complaint within 48 hours and resolve it within one month of receiving it, as the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 require. You may also contact the National Consumer Helpline (1915 or consumerhelpline.gov.in) or approach the consumer commission that has jurisdiction.
